Morning Musings from My Hyper-brain. 1

My brain is often hyper-active in the morning. Thoughts pour in and out of my head as I ready myself for work. Brushing my teeth seems to really bring on the flow. So here's the first of my hyper-morning brain musings.

What if Jesus and the disciples acted like some of us do? What if they went to the woman at the well or the woman caught in adultery with signs that said, "GOD HATES ADULTERERS" or what if they just behaved as though he hated them? On the other hand, what if we behaved like Jesus did and loved all kinds of people, showing them that God really does love them in spite of themselves, just like he does us?

  2. Other than the normal amount of psychos out there, I haven't seen or heard ANY of my Christian friends indicating they hate anyone. I just get upset when I see even Christians calling Christians "haters" when I can't think of a single person in my circle who's heart motive is hate. BM

  4. Actually, in the beginning of Yeshua's ministry the disciples did act worldly. Just look at some of their words and such. It was only after 3 years of walking with Him daily that change came. MH

  5. Though truthfully God does hate sin. That's why He said "go and sin no more". MH

  6. I was thinking about that this morning too, Marie. The disciples were as human as we are and needed to learn the Master's heart for people. And Jesus preceded those words with, "Neither do I condemn you." I love that!

  7. Isn't that the truth Kathy. Speak it and shout it from the rooftops. The bible is clear- Love one another. Love covers a multitude of sins- judge not least you be judged. Everyone is so quick to jump on the bandwagon of pointing fingers when we should be embracing each other in love and understanding. If we could all do that we would truly change the world. Let's start a Love Revolution. LJ

  8. After 3 years they still were going through. " stuff." Judas sold him out. Peter cut off Malchus ' ear, And then denied him. Thomas doubted him etc. Walking with Jesus doesn't remove the human factor it removes us from eternal separation from God. SS
